Selected Projects
This idea shapes how Romi approaches her work. She enjoys projects that bring people into the design process, along with the everyday problem-solving that comes with turning ideas into real places. At Noll & Tam, she values getting to work on different types of projects and learning alongside kind, curious people who care about both the work and each other.
Representative of her creativity and commitment to environments that promote wellness, compassion, and innovation Romi received the prestigious Robert J. Kain Healthcare Design Education Scholarship in 2024.
Romi’s creative energy doesn’t stop when she leaves the office. She is usually making something, whether that means woodworking, block printing, embroidery, drawing, painting, or whatever medium catches her interest next. She also loves traveling, cooking with friends and family, and playing pick-up soccer with the same group of longtime Berkeley residents she joined a decade ago. At this point, it may be her longest-running project.
