“Clients put a lot of faith in us. So, we put in the time.”

Brian Ceraban’s background is as diverse as his interests. He’s worked in firms of all sizes, and on projects from a large tech museum to a small home remodel. He had his own practice for many years in the Sierra foothills where he spent time hiking and camping.

While he liked having his name on the door, he missed collaboration and sought a firm that shared his values. Noll & Tam is happy to have him. Although he has moved back to urbanity, his passion for nature continues to fuel his interest in sustainable design.

Brian has a particular interest in straw bale construction and has given talks about it, once as far away as Tasmania.

Every design process requires a leap of faith. To help his clients make this leap, Brian actively listens to them. He walks his clients through the process, and shares his knowledge and experience. Brian finds that his projects are most successful and satisfying when he puts in this kind of time.
