Santa Clara Community Center
Santa Clara, California

The Santa Clara Community Center was in need of renovation and expansion to bring the 1974 building up to contemporary codes. Noll & Tam Architects designed the improvements for the existing 24,000-square-foot facility, which encompass a youth theatre, dance rooms, activity rooms, administrative areas, and an after-school activity room. The renovation also provides an improved entry and additional parking. In addition, we also designed a 12,000-square-foot expansion with a distinctive 200-person multipurpose room, a catering kitchen, an additional activity room, public restrooms, and landscaped interior courtyards for indoor/outdoor events. The addition will provide the continuity with the existing building and created a new edge for the busy, adjacent central park.
