Fremont Fire Station Renovations Fremont, CA After completing the master plan for the City of Fremont's ten fire stations, Noll & Tam is renovating seven stations over the next two years. Work involves seismic retrofits and significant expansion and remodeling for most of the existing buildings. The stations will be expanded to accommodate both male and female fire fighters, improve storage capacity, upgrade work and living spaces, and add new accessible public entries with reception counters and public restrooms. Apparatus bays will be lengthened to house modern-size equipment, and will be fitted with new fast-acting bifold doors and state-of-the-art breakaway exhaust systems.
