Manteca Public Library
Noll & Tam Architects designed a new 53,500-square-foot, two-story library building for the Central Valley community of Manteca. The downtown location and adjacency to the city park strengthen the city's civic core, and the library and civic plaza establish an urban character for the downtown. While referencing Manteca's historic monuments through its use of materials, the building's design is contemporary in character and appropriate to its setting. Throughout the conceptual design process, Noll & Tam worked closely with the library staff and the community to create a library facility that meets the growing needs of this expanding community. In addition to design services, we assisted the City of Manteca in preparing the grant for state funding under Proposition 14.
