Carmichael Branch Library Carmichael, CA Noll & Tam Architects designed the complete renovation of the 14,000 sf facility and 6,000 sf expansion of the Carmichael Branch of the Sacramento Public Library. The facility s outdated design is completely made-over with a stylish, modern look. The open layout features expansive window walls and a series of generous light wells, opening up the main space. The new facility serves both the local community and the entire region with an expanded children s area, an adult reading room, a teen area, a technology center, a special collections area, improved staff and support spaces and a community meeting space. The building s mechanical systems were replaced and the access to, and accessibility of, the building and parking were simplified and improved. Outdoor spaces have been improved and made more usable with a shade structure and large trees with benches underneath. < Previous ProjectNext Project >
