Fong Library School of Optometry University of California, Berkeley Noll & Tam Architects worked closely with the School of Optometry to renovate several spaces with new finishes, lighting, and new technology infrastructure. Our work architecturally and functionally integrated several components that comprise the School's Informatics Center, including Fong Library, a lecture theater, and a computer lab. We transformed the entire 4th floor of Minor Hall, redesigning the library to house 11,000 volumes and designing a new lecture theatre for 75 students, a new teaching computer laboratory, student lab space, and the Hall of Fame.
