Campus-Wide Facilities Modernization, Caņada College Redwood City, CA, San Mateo County Community College District Noll & Tam Architects developed a facilities-modernization program that encompasses complete site and building assessments supporting the developing academic mission of the College. The first phase included an extensive database of information about each building on campus including recommendations for the out-of-date teaching spaces as well as space recommendations supporting new academic disciplines. Our design concepts included creating flexible and multiuse classrooms, the integration of multimedia and AV technology, providing for student and faculty interactions, improving the overall access, ADA and infrastructure upgrades, and enhanced utilization of outdoor spaces. Noll & Tam will continue to be engaged in all aspects of Caņada College's facilities development and modernization over the next three years providing architectural services that create lively yet sophisticated environments for a variety of academic and community activities. < Previous ProjectNext Project >
